What’s your photography style?

My style is candid, documentary-style photography. That means I focus on capturing real, fleeting moments: the laughter, the tears, the glances that might otherwise go unnoticed. It’s all about telling the story of your day as it genuinely unfolds, rather than overly posed shots.

Do you take posed family photos as well?

Absolutely. While my main focus is on capturing natural moments, I always make time for a handful of group shots and couple portraits if you’d like them. We can plan this into the timeline to make it smooth and stress-free.

How do we book you?

It’s simple. Just head over to the Contact page and drop me a message with your date and location. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can to chat through your plans and see if we’re a good fit. A signed contract and booking fee are required to secure your date.

Can we meet before the wedding?

Of course. Every package includes at least one pre-wedding consultation. This can be in person, over Zoom, or just a phone call. It’s a chance to get to know each other, talk through your timeline, and make sure everything runs smoothly on the day.

When will we receive our photos?

You’ll receive your beautifully edited images via a private online gallery within 4 to 6 weeks of your wedding. I know how exciting it is to relive your day, so I always aim to send over a sneak peek within the first week.

How many images will we get?

This varies depending on the package and how your day unfolds, but as a general guide:

• The Essentials: 100 to 175 images

• The Story: 175 to 250 images

• The Legacy: 300+ images, including highlights for print

All images are high-resolution and professionally retouched.

Do we get printing rights?

Yes. All packages include unlimited download and printing rights, so you can share, print, and enjoy your images however you wish.

Do you charge for travel?

Travel within 50 miles of Harpenden, Hertfordshire is included. For weddings further afield, I may need to add a travel or accommodation fee. This will always be discussed in advance.

Can we request specific shots?

Definitely. I’ll ask you to fill out a short questionnaire before the wedding where you can include any group shots or special requests. While I aim to document things naturally, I’ll make sure the important moments and people aren’t missed. I do welcome couples to send over pictures they really like over the course of the year, where I’ll build a mood board to guide me on the day.

Do you offer albums or prints?

Yes. The Legacy package includes a handcrafted wooden box, USB, and a set of 12 fine art prints. If you’re booking The Essentials or The Story package, albums and prints can be added on at any time. Just let me know what you’re after.

Do you work with a second photographer?

A second photographer can be added to The Story or The Legacy package. It’s a great way to capture both sides of the morning prep or get more candid angles throughout the day. The Legacy package already includes a second shooter

What happens if you’re ill or unavailable on the day?

It’s never happened. But in the unlikely event that I can’t make it, I’m part of a network of professional photographers I trust. I would arrange a trusted replacement to step in and deliver the same level of care, style and quality.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance, as any professional photographer should.
